Eric C. Brunick
Eric C. Brunick joined FREED & WEISS in 2004. His practice at the
firm focuses on unfair and deceptive consumer charges such as damage
waivers, restocking fees, and early termination fees; bogus consumer
products and services; and deceptive insurance practices such as silent
PPO schemes. Eric has extensive experience counseling individual consumers.
His client focused skills recently led to significant recoveries for
class members in the “unauthorized charges” settlement with
AOL.
Eric graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in
1995 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and received his law degree
from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005. While at Chicago-Kent, Eric
earned CALI awards both in Legal Writing II and in Consumer Health Benefits.
Eric began working at Freed & Weiss as a law clerk in April 2004
and continued his employment as an associate upon being sworn into the
bar in 2005. Prior to his law career, Eric spent eight years in the
technology industry designing software for and providing business and
technology consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. His specialization
was in client management and user interface design.
