Cell Phone / Early Termination Fee Investigation
FW is currently prosecuting class action lawsuits against cell phone companies – Sprint, Nextel, AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon - for charging “Early Termination Fees” (also known as “Early Cancellation Fees”) on customers who cancel or charge service before the end of their contract. These fees can range between $150.00 and $200.00 and are uniformly charged by cell phone companies when a customer tries to change or cancel service.
